Has anybody broken one of the 35 spline full spools designed for the small case 9"? I did some searching and found lots of people saying that because of the small bearings the shoulder would be a lot weaker and would fail, I couldn't find anybody who had broken one however, this tells me either it's stronger than it looks, nobody runs them, or I suck at the search(most likely). I'm thinking about putting one in my early bronco, I know that an aftermarket third and a normal 35 spline spool would be better but that would not fit the budget right now, besides I'm planning a major rebuild in the near future of the whole rig and a high-9 might work better at that time. I'm only running 35s now and it's not a crawler, it does see it's fair share of shock loading from being jumped at the dunes but I've never broken a shaft yet, spider and side gears several times but no shafts yet.
