I was thumbing in a catalog today and saw those so called quick start portable battery jumpers and was thinking of my last 2 trips on the Rubicon with 2 guys busted and welding with standard batteries out of the vehicles, well now if you had one of these would it work with the stock bat. to weld with? What if you carried 2 of them since they come with jumpers attached and hooked em up to each other then you wouldnt have to pull batteries out of vehicles. Anyone have a thought or 2 on these? Thats besides running an onboard welder set up, more for a matter of simple welding.

Someone used to make one of those battery boosters mith a flux core mig attatchment already attached. A guy from a body shop here in town said they worked great for what they used them for. Sorry don't know much else.

Check out the welders section from harborfreight...like $399.....

HHmm, not looking for a welder, I got what I need, just curious as to if anyone has used them as stated above.
