There a re several intermediate servos available for the C-6 to firm up the 1-2 shift. Everything from original style "R" servos to an Art Carr piece, along with at least 2 Sonnax versions. http://www.c6-c4.com/#Transmission Parts
Anyone have personal experience and recommendations on the servos??

I wouldn't bother with anything other than the "R" or "L" servo. Get at least a "E" shift lever to go with it. A "F" would be even better. I see someone is selling "F" levers on E-Bay right now # 8007015889. I don't know anything about the Art Carr servo. I run a "L" servo with a "E" shift lever in mine. Some say the "R" hits a little hard for a 4x4, but a lot of people run them.

Thanks for the info. I'm not going to change the shift lever...I hope to make it a few years with the trans in the truck now that its there.
All I am planning to change is the servo. Most of the servos that I have found are repros or versions of the "R" servo, along with a few of the original "R"s floating around on eBay.
Basically, a Google search of "C-6 intermediate servo" brings up about 4 or 5 choices. I was just checking to see if anyone actually knew the differences.....the price difference is about 100$ from the cheapest to most expensive. Thanks

I believe with the Art Carr you are just paying for the name, these days.
I've used the R servo in the past and was happy with it.
