I've heard that it was bought out and now you can't drive on it. Does anyone know anything about this? Could we just drive on it anyways?

Yep, been closed for over a year now. The campground that you drove through to access LB is now fenced and gated. :(

Just remember to hang a left when you get to the top. :shaking: :flipoff2:

Yes and no. Lion's Back is not private property, the access to it is.

Go up the backside...it's an exciting trip! Really, it'll raise the hair on your neck and there's no room for error, but it's done on a regular basis. Just don't die, it's a long way down from the off-camber climb/descent section.

I have always liked the default setting to be 'die'.......

The backside is crazy! Didn't 3 teens or young guys die going down the backside a while back? Got too close to the left and got tossed. Scary shit.

When we were there last month driving out of Hell's revenge I was trying to picture the line that one would take on the backside and it all looked
