just got back from the local 'yard, got me a new cast iron bellhousing (with the ears on the back). also saw a sm420 sitting there so i took that too! anyway, Iwas just wondering what you guys normally pay for a 420? I'm pretty sure i got a good price on this one, Everywhere else around here, no one's got any, or if they do, they want a fortune for it!

I have paid $50 to $300 for them depending on the level of desparation!

I got 2 of them for $50 each, but I had to take a complete mini truck front axle for another $100. The whole time the guys thinks hes "doing me". Funniest part is when the yard dog looked at me and said "so what are you driving, so I can see if you can afford them"? I swore that brand new F350 crew cab 4x4 powerstroke with leather interior was my boss's!

I paid 50 for one out in the pick and pull yard. Bellhousing shifter and all..

I have seen them go for 100 to 250 some times cheaper..

My first one went for free.
