are sammy transfer cases divorced?

i was looking at an ad for complete t cases and thought it would be sweet to have the high in the t case be a higher ratio then i could run my toyota 4.10 gears in the axles and just swap in two sammy cases. am i just crazy?

will sammy cases hold up to my toyota truck?

yes, Sammy cases are divorced.

and yes, i believe they would hold up just fine.

It'd work but I wouldn't do it. Toy cases are way stronger. I'd rather risk breaking a 5.29 gearset than a tcase.

has anyone done dual sammy cases?

I've seen a few, but so far all of the ones I've seen look pretty hokey....stuff hanging way down, shifters going sideways etc.
