Nevada County CA? Is with all counties in Cali, U most likely have to smog the truck the first time U register it. After that, I assume that just like Lake County, CA you won't have to again. But this is just a guess, lets see how far I am off. But for sure the first on is manitory, unless it is over 25 years old.

Nevada County is not exempt (is any in CA?). I don't think they have the "Smog Check II" like in Sac where they put it on a dyno though...

I am pretty sure it goes by the zip code and how many many people live there. My parents live in east san Diego County and only smog when they buy a car and never again.
