hey whats going on guys. i have been looking around this site for years now but enough with the b.s. i am stationed in okinawa japan and they got right hand drive samurais driving around everware like its cool. what i am woundering is if i brought one back to the states and started building it up would i run into any issues with the rite hand drive set up and all the steering bullshit and aftermarket parts. well hope someone has got some good info on this topic :flipoff2:

No info for you, but I say do it, be a little different.

the steering will be easy compared to the importation unless its 25+ years old

It might be difficult to shift with your left hand but not impossible. I say go for it

Passing (not likely in a zuk) is quite scary in a right hand drive vehicle as are a few other common manuvers, just so you know. Still it would be cool.
we have lots of Japan import RHD vehicles up here. very little to get used to. hardest seems to be turning left across traffic when there is someone in front of you. very hard to see. make sure you look hard at all those sierra's most that are '93 older will have the 660CC 3 cyl motor.

thanks for the info. i think all the talk about driving on the streets kinda got me thinking. but ill just have to adapt and overcome:flipoff2: beside i dont think one of these little fuckers would be that great for a daily driver with some 35s. no offense to anyone who says different but my old jeep was a 4 banger with 33s and stock gears yeah laugh it up i was cheap and in high school, but that thing wouldnt get out of its own way. so i just figure a little suziki might be the same on the road... but on the trail bad ass....
