I'll Start, cause I wheeled :D

Two of us ran the McGrew Trail in SW Oregon on Saturday. The trail is in the 470,000 acre Biscuit fire a few years ago

The Trail Fix, note the clearance between the front u-joint and the drive shaft

Matt's Toy and the supervision Staff for the trail repair of the trip. This pic doesn't really show the big rock he got hung up on that reminded him it's time for that long travel front drive shaft.

A great trip on a trail that just keeps getting better. This was my first full day wheeling my new 35s. I have decided to add the power steering conversion to the front-end link project later on this year...

Went and looked at this 90 F350 4x4 with a 7.3L and 5speed Dana 60 HP in the front and a ford somthing in the rear i think. Its going to be a parts doner for my 68 pickup build... I did got it running and driving but it does need a starter and a tune up

all for the tune of $1500.oo

Jack squat.
Out of town for a wedding for the 3rd weekend this summer -- still have one more to go. Why can't everyone just go to vegas and forget to invite everyone.

As father of three daughters, I think a wedding(s) in Vegas is very romantic...

Still in Maine. Spent all week on east grand lake, staring at canadians. Fucking shitty weather. Spent too much on tourist crap. Saw a metric shit ton of IH tractors and 1 lone scout 80 in some falling down barn. I had a decent time but now I'm fucking SWAMPED. I'll post pics later.

Planted some trees on Saturday. Someday, if they don't die, I might even get some shade and/or wind break benefit..

Found a little time to install a power steering cooler on the racer. Trying to replace the rear springs before the race this weekend, but we'll see.

Agreed to buy another POS Scout.. this one is just a rolling frame with drivetrain - the rust-free tub is gone. I need an engine for my wife's 800, and a "loose" frame would be a good start on repairing/upgrading/replacing my trail rig.. should I ever get around to starting on that project.

hung out with the kids, and snuck out to the garage whenever possible. My son had a blast using air in the holes of my frame shooting all the dirt/paper/etc out. Bleh, what a mess.

Was in Tennessee most of the week...Got a voicemail from YELLOW IH :). Thanks for the call, I too was very busy...:(

Bought a set of the Mac's Ultra Tie-Downs from Polyperformance...they were waiting for me in the office on Friday!

Spent the weekend in Moses Lake, WA with the girlfriend and my two boys...We went to this little water park that the city runs...it was awesome! Great place...

The boys and I spent most of the time there on their new jet wave machine...basically simulates a big ass wave and you can boogie board on it or stand up "surf"...I hurt right now.

Going to throw some stain/sealant on my trailer this week sometime...

Took my boy camping for the last time this year before he goes back to Washington to live with his mom for a year. He had fun playing with his Ruger 10-22... not a bad shot too.
Signed up for fall classes. I'm taking SMAW 1&2 and GMAW1&2 in the evening. I've been thinking of working during the day while my sons gone. Use the extra cash and finish the scout and a little down of my friends land. Stopped by his place on Sunday to talk more about it. Took a look at his caddy motor hes givin me. Not bad looking, his Dad told him it was an earily 70's 472 before he past on. took some pics of the trucks and garage.
Not much scout related but I did traded off some junk for 5 nice humvee beadlocks.

Saturday.. Worked on the wifes junk (98 burbin). Door hindge pins (sucked) and inner door handle. Man have they changed those panel clips. Thought I was gonna destroy the panel. Sawed a few in half with hack saw blade.

Sunday.. Had plans to put new bling muffler on my S-10. To hot in shop. Did get the engine washed off though. Did house chores the rest of the day then watched some "limpics".

Didnt even see my IH's this weekend. Like thats unusual!! :(

Due to weather related delays, I'm still on the wrong coast. I didn't get to Newark till 9:30 to night. I should have been HOME in Portland oregon at 9:30. I'm camping in the airport tonight. I can catch up on my pirate browsing I guess.

Bought a long overdue beater truck, 84 K20 350/700R4/208/10b/14bSF, and proceded to fill the bed with new junk, most of it to update this rig. Rigged up my trailer hitch hauler to accept a receiver hitch to make the whole rig more hillbilly looking out and freak out my city neighbors and anyone else looking at it:laughing:

What did you do for a fuel tank? We shortened the tank on the Daughter's rig about 4". We did cut a foot off the rear on her rig too. We also modified the fuel tank skid-plate. The skid-plate still sits a little too low beneath the tank. It works damn good though.

haven't quite figured that out yet.
there's still a little room between the rear bumper and crossmember if i can find a cell to fit. or, use my old bulkhead behind the seats and mount a cell in that area.

Built a stand for my fish tank. I thought my table was square, so I built the stand square to that, turns out it's 1/4 inch out. Oh well, it only cost $15 in steel.

More dump runs in the 1510. Took two loads of wood/brush debris out of the back of my in-laws house. Old fence that they replaced 2-3 years ago, rotten wood even older than that (like 10+ years), trimmed up one big ass chestnut tree. Made my brother-in-law work :D. But we did a lot of damage in only 4-5 hours.

Still got more to do over there, but it looks a TON nicer... my FIL's just plain busy (he's in Singapore right now on business) and my MIL tried no less than 5 times on Saturday to get us to call it quits. All the work was overwhelming her. But she loved the end result. Probably a good reason my FIL doesn't get as much done as I'm sure he would want. I love my MIL, but man she can be annoying sometimes.

Got lunch AND dinner out of it :D

I just put my tank in the bed for now. no rear seat eventually get a fuel cell. and keep it where it is then build something around it and storage and all that good stuff.

oh bought some used swampers.

started kicking around some ideas for a new seat frame. Along with ripping into the front axle to rebuild before i install that. also had to work a little.
