Could be a lot of things. Check your u-joints, wheel weights didn't fall off, Mud on rim etc. Check Control Arm, Track Bar bushings.

probably just an unbalanced tire in this case.. if not check all tierods, balljoints and the rest of the frontend for slop.. make sure everything is tight

I have a 03 Rubicon and I got the death wobble at 45 mph, I got the wheels balanced by someone that does 4x4 tires and my problem went away for a while. Now I get the wobble randomly and I think it is my steering stabilizer linkage, and I am looking for any ideals on a good brand was looking at currie because it looks beefy.

check the ball joints as well as the bushings on the control arms, the steering stabilizer shouldn't affect death wobble also check the alignment

Son of a bitch... I didn't look at the date, I only assumed it was the average monthly deathwobble question...:shaking:

to answer your question, the death wobble is MUCH more violent than what you are explaining. "most" times it is set off by a bump in the road and it will throw anything on your visors or console in the air and won,t stop until you slow way down or "sometimes" if you blast the brakes. can be caused by bad front bushings, uneven front tire wear or anything in the front that is going to crap. P.S. if it happens you will know. hang on to your ass and don,t bite your tongue.
