There is also the BW1356/205 option. Both have been discussed.

What exactly is the question? You need to be more specific.

You can run whatever components you like for the most part, as long as your t-case front output matches your front axle drop.

It all pretty much has to be adapted.

http://www.offroaddesign.com/catalog/doubler.htm

That ought to answer most of your questions.

Well, your friend is a little sharper than you. If you had spent some time at the site, then you would know a few things.

1. You are not going to find a doubler kit in a junkyard.... You can find 203 gearboxes and 205's and such at a junkyard, but you need the kit to put them together, or you have to fabricate your own, which given your obvious lack of knowledge is extremely unlikely.

2. Any possible question about what gearboxes you need behind what transmission is pretty well covered. You friend is about half right, but he doesn't have the full story, because he obviously hasn't spent any time on that particular site either. You can certainly run a TH400 gearbox behind a Ford transmission, but you have to swap out the input shaft. Same goes for TH350 and Dodge gearboxes as well, but there is some machining and a bearing swap involved as well.

If you are seriously considering a doubler, then go back to the site and read just about everything, then come back here with some intelligent questions.

If you aren't, then quit cluttering up the site with your poser newbie bullshit.

Thank you da(ass)hoyle! I hope your gear runs as good as your mouth. Let me define the word forum for you….a PUBLIC meeting place for OPEN discussion. Had you taken your head out from underneath that rock you might have realized a few things. I never mentioned anything about trying to find a Doubler Kit in a junk yard. I am interested in learning about what parts I need to be looking for in order to fabricate it myself. The website was helpful; however, I still had a couple questions which I was hoping someone who has ran what I’m wanting to would come along and give some info on it. So, if you have a problem with what is in this particular thread maybe you should just bypass it or press the issue that new threads can’t be started period. :flipoff2: Have a nice day!

Really.

First, thanks for the definition of forum, you little tard. I guess you should spend some more time on here before you start trying to run things. This is Pirate4X4. It is not a public forum. It is actually privately owned, and I'm not sure how the owner would feel about you trying to set the rules.

Second, I am really quite good with the English language, and you did say you were going to find the parts for a doubler at a junkyard as opposed to buying a kit. What I pointed out to you was that, unless you are capable of the machine work, and have the dimensions needed, then you have to do both.

Third, I answered your questions, even tho you obviously didn't spend very much time at the site. The answers were there, if you had looked. Hell there are several pages of information, and I even narrowed it down to the specific page that covered what you asked.

If you have some additional questions, then why don't you ask them, instead of saying that you have some additional questions. Speak up junior.

Let's hear it.

In the mean time, you're wasting oxygen and bandwidth, and making yourself look stupid.

I've read your other posts, and can see you have a long way to go. it would be best not to go out of your way to piss off the people trying to help you.

You need to learn how to use the internet.

Try searching more. This topic has been beaten to death and it looks like you want the answers spoon fed to you.

Closing thread.
