I just rebuilded my 700R4 with a B&M Transkit. I also recalibrated the valve body for "heavy duty and offroad performance". I was wondering if anyone can tell me, what should I spect from those modifications. I mean the add from B&M says that the tranny will perform as a "full manual or automatic", In real life, what does that means?, Someone told me that I will feel firmer shifts.
Do not shoot me cause I do not know what I bought, my tranny was dead and needed to be rebuid anyway.........
any imputs, appreciate

If your kit sets your tranny for full manual operation, thats what it means. It will shift when you shift it, into any gear, at any speed. Becareful with this. If you lug an automatic it will get hot very quickly. It can kill it quick.
I have a B&M shiftkit in my 727. Transpak, i believe it was called. Had to drill a dam in the valve body, change a ball or 2, and made some spring changes and adjustments. It shifts a lot faster now, and now the kickdown also works on the 2nd to 1st gear downshift. I'm very pleased with it. Only downside i can think of are the mild clunking noise you may hear when you let off the gas about half a second before the tranny would shift under full throttle. It then shifts immediately, and you can 'hear' the cumulative play/clearance in your driveshaft splines, diff backlash etc.
