: Toyota Engine Mounts, bolt in or weld in sets!

Over time the rubber of a Toyota truck stock engine mount becomes weak and brittle. Combine this with the heavy torque loads produced by your engine and transfer case when off-roading and your stock mount will fail. To eliminate this problem 4x I. engineered this beautiful creation.
From the bottom up it was clear a small bushing just wouldn’t do, so a monster 2-inch Energy Suspension round bushing was selected to dampen engine vibrations. In order to squeeze this bushing between things like radiator hoses, your alternator, A/C pump, and more a whole new bracket had to be engineered. Over a year in the making the new brackets replace everything between your stock frame and engine block. Kits are currently available as complete bolt-in sets.
Super-Duty Engine Mounts are available for any truck with a 22R series (22R, 22R-E, 22R-ET) engine for $150 ready to bolt in.

Is the price each or for a set , Also do they maintain stock location ? I'm wanting to drop the motor down and inch and have you finished the weld in frame mounts
thanks

They are $150 for a complete set, everything you need to bolt them in (uses stock mounting hardware). I do not have the weld in frame side brackets yet. I do sell the kit as just the block side mounts for those of you who want to make your own frame sides. That set is $130. If I ever get the weld in frame sides done they will have the ability to relocate the engine vertically. I have not decided on what to do about front to back yet though as the slope of the frame makes that a bit more difficult to suit everyone's requirements.

I take it the design of these would not lend itself well to the fore/aft movement created by lifting up the transfercase for a flatbelly like the stockers?

I'll probably just chain my stockers but maybe you could offer a "clocked" version?

sorry if this is not the place for this

Lifting of the Transfer case should not cause the mounts to have to move foreward, if done correctly it should only cause a couple of degrees of twist at the mount, which in these mounts should not be a problem. They are able to flex enough to absorbe that twist.

I didn't really mean that the mount would move forward, just that it would twist.

Good to know the bushings should be able to take it, thanks for the reply

You have a 22R series motor mounted to a Tacoma transmission?

22RE 2.7 5 speed.

The 2.7 is NOT a 22RE. These mounts will not work for your motor.
