can a desert runner be converted to 4x4 like the prerunner toyotas. my friend is wanting to do a sas what r sum of u guys doing post pics and specs and pointers on this kind of swap. thanks ahead of time.

come on guys no one here to help out? my buddy has a 02 frontier desert runner that he wants to convert to 4x4 and do a sas on it with probally the calmini kit. what adaptors will he need and is there a couple of t-cases he can run or is it just the nissan t-case

He needs a tranny, Tcase, driveshafts, and then all the SFA parts. Not really economical to do it this way. One guy did it with a newer fronteir though.

This has been done multiple times now. The most cost effective way is picking up a trans/tcase and a rear shaft seeing as he is going with the calmini kit.
