i am really considering putting a big knuckle44 under my cherokee and a 14 bolt rear on 38's. i really want to run radius arm to be diffrent in my group of trucks. im really just stuck on how much flex i can get out of them compared to leafs. POST UP, ANYTHING WILL HELP

when i built my last XJ, i considered radius arms, and they have their pluses. i decided on a tri-3link front because i didn't want the crazy roll center caused by trackbar angles.
however, i think radius arms is a fair choice but you'll have to get them nice & flat at ride height to keep your anti-squat where it should be. otherwise you'll have wicked brake dive and lifting tendancies while climbing ledges.
14B is probably the cheapest, most bulletproof axle you can put in the rear. get the dual wheel FF version because it's narrow and fits the XJ very well.
here's mine on 38s with 14B rear, 3/4T D44 front:

that is almost exactly what i want to run. i have a 3/4ton chev sittin in my grandpa's field so im just gonna use that front axle and i traded some work for a 14 bolt.
also would i want the up link coming off the lower arm parralel or angle off like this !/.
!
i was thinking of have adjustable mounts from 9 to 6 inches of seperation at the axle. does that sound right

Couple years ago with rusty's arms. IMO if you're building a set of arms (and not using ford RA's) there's no reason not to use an upper on each arm.

i think if you're set on radius arms, get some pre-made ones. you'll save alot of money buying them vs. building them. i've made ALOT of suspension arms, and it's not cheaper to build them yourself.
go with Rubicon Express longarms & build all the mounts yourself.
