503-667-6818 I talked to rich. they not only have toy parts they also have mazda and nissan (different ext.) not too sure on the name of the place. They said the name but I didn't catch it. and yes they definitly have more. Rich told me they were over stocked with them.

Ok, just called again and talked to Rich. (very helpfull dude) He said that he does have a bunch of pre 89 boxes by none for the 89-94 Toys (what I need) I didn't know that these boxes were different?

Probably the pre-86 boxes. I have some to sell too for $85 each.

They ARE different, but not by much. Rober Canon (FrankenTaco) has posted pics before (do a search, probably on the Toy board). The later ones have a longer input on them. If you put an older one in a later truck, the steering shaft may need to be lengthened at tad, similar to having a body lift or something. The difference is an inch or less.

FWIW, on my 4runner w/ 1" BL, the splines in the steering shaft have enough slip that I can (and have) use either box. YMMV.
