Search the Ford section. Plan on a re-tube ($200-400)
I wouldn't take the axle if it was free.

Why????
He said 3/4 ton, not the 1/2 ton. Are you saying the 3/4 ton is also thin wall tubed? I know about the 1/2 ton-Bronco D-44 with the cast on wedges and super thin tubes.

BTW,
WMS to WMS is 68" with the dual caliper brakes.

I have a HP housing with the cast on wedges, its from a truck and has 1/2" thich tube walls. It seems beefy to me, unless I'm missing something .

The 3/4 ton ones are plenty stout. They have the 1/2 wall tubing and spring centers at 31.5" if I remember correctly. If you change from 8 lug to 5 or 6 you will loose about 1.5-2" of width and stock 8 lug with was 67.5-68" wide.

I looked on the ford board, but found no exact info, in fact, this is the type of confusing info I have found (no one can tell me exactly the tube size, problems etc.). I have found If I can work the spring pin hole on the housing (drivers side), and relocate the passenger side perch (due to stock ford 3" wide springs, vice the jeep 2.5" wide), I can match the YJ sppring perch width, I was just wondering what width I will come up with when I add the Chevy flat tops and 6 lug rotors????

I shortened one side and retubed the other, .500 wall!
