First of all stop, research, research, and go here: http://pirate4x4.com/forum/search.php

Leaf springs and rockwells don't go together too well. You get the worst wheel hop ever.

I never really understood why rockwells get the bad rap for the spring wrap. Sure u get a lot of spring wrap with big tires and really low gears, the same as u would with any other axle with big tires and really low gears. U deal with this issue the same way. Good set of traction bars, depending on your type of wheeling. Or a single, inboard mounted "anti-wrap" bar with a shackle on the frame end. Problem solved. Would a 4-link be better? Depending on how much fab and design u wont to put into it. Leafs can work really well with rocks if that is what u would prefer. Basically, built it the same as u would with any other axle under a full size based on the type of wheeling and tire size u plan to use. Check out the search up above, google, and many hours of reading and picking through countless threads and u can find lots of info on here and else were on the web, and possibly some others will have some input on the subject in this thread. Now let us know what u decide on and take lots of pics as u go:p
