OK - I'v searched a bit and no can find the answer.
Swapping a 32RH from an 01 TJ (aka TF999 auto trans) into my 83 CJ (258/T176/D300)
Bolts that attach flex plate to 258 crank (83 CJ7) - what thread and how long?
I know they need to be about 1/2 shorter than the ones holding the flywheel to the crank - but until I get the flywheel off, I won't be able to measure them.
I'd like to have the correct bolts available when needed - rather than run to get them when I'd rather be wrenching.
Also - must they be flexplate-to-crank specific bolts (aka OEM from a dealer or ???) or can they just be the right thread and length Grade 8's?
Thanks
