well with a nice switch panel and a 9.5ti winch panel too:)

this one is for John and his Marlin F-Toy
4x 8.5
black anodized aluminum
2" brushed aluminum bars
made per request
resettable circuit breakers...............I left off the rubber boots, being a comp rig, you will want to see the thing to reset, if you had wanted LEDs I would have wired them after breaker, light would go out if CB tripped so you would have a visual.
o-ring sealed switches with black boots
push button start
only 1 LED green mini over ignition
will ship out this week:smokin:

SeaBass nice panel! I do avionics for a living and I build panels for many experimental aircraft so I can appreciate the time it takes. I do have a question, Have you considered pull type circuit breakers? We use them in aircraft and I put them in my brothers crawler. They are nice because you can disable a circuit if you need to. Just my 2 cents.
Keep up the good work!!

I actually talked to Darren about pull type circuit breakers. The problem is, THEY ARE EXPENSIVE! and probably a little overkill for this application.

No, it probably is a switch for adjusting his shocks on the fly.:flipoff2:

No, that's my new weight distribution system. With a flick of a switch I can move 200 pounds of liquid to different parts of the tube chassis to compensate for extream angles.

If I got some and sent them to you would you wire in the aircraft type for me when I finally order that panel from you?

Marlin said ya got a good 3 years outa that motor, sounds like alot for a full on comp type rig. Did Marlin build the motor himself? specs:grinpimp:

desertoy

Yes, Marlin built it himself. He didn't get real crazy. He boared it a little, ported the head, installed an LC cam shaft, and an LC "f-Toy" header. The plan is to install a post 1991 intake with an LC throttle body if everything fits ok. We weren't lacking in power for comps but we were in King of the Hammers.
I am also having Griffin Radiator build us a bad ass aluminum radiator with dual electric fans to fix our overheating problems when I go fast. I'll post pictures when I get it.

crimped, best material nylon's vinyls that do not split
crimper is a divot punch type, not the soft c types.

Well, Mike Hendricks came up this weekend and helped me rewire the Marlin Crawler Formula Toy.
All of the SDS fuel management system wiring was in good shape, but all the accessories were needing help. the main problem was the fuse block was getting heat from the motor and it was starting to melt.

You seen the pictures of all the bad ass stuff 12voltguy.com sent us already. Here's a couple of pictures of how we put it all to use.

First, I had to make a new panel. It was really tight getting it all layed out, but after 2 or 3 attempts I finally got it.

desertoy

Most of the red wire on the top with the realys is the circuit to run the dual electric fans to cool the radiator. The red wires to the panel is all the guage sensors and they all have different color stripes to identify them.
