First off yes I did try the search, but didn't find what I was looking for.

I know that swapping an EB D44 and 9" under a BroncoII isn't going to be that difficult, but what exactly will be involved?? I plan on using a wristed arm, and probably a Duff 3.5" variable rate coil up front. Will the coil work w/ the BroncoII coil bucket, or will I have to get buckets out of and EB???

What about Rad. arm drop brackets? EB?? Fullsize ford?

What hitches and problems could you forsee me running into?? In time plan on swapping in a 9"rear from a 73bronco too, and a 302 and tranny/xfer case out of the same bronco. In the mean time what to do about the front driveshaft??I'm sure it won't work w/ the D44 right? Just starting to research this as my little bro will be buying a broncoII tomorrow:)

I did this swap already front and back and it was virtually painless. I used the radius arm buckets from a 78 and put them where the tranny mount bolts onto the frame. This positions the axle dead center of the wheel well, custom made a tranny plate, custom made a track bar bracket, used the existing coil buckets from the 88 and added the shock buckets from the 72 and mounted on the frame beside the original buckets, had to run 2 steering stabilizers. I have pics of the whole procedure front and back contact me if needed. also here is the pics before and after

Sweet...What did you do about your driveshaft??? I mean are you reusing the stock T-Case, if so then is the u-joint size different than the axle's?? I don't even have the Bronco II home yet to look at it, but this was one of my concerns.

Now mind you, the solid axle will add 2" of additional lift. Meaning that 4" of lift will give you six. DO NOT use TTB coils for the stock BII suspension. Far to stiff. Do a search for EB coils *early bronco*
You will get more info then you ever wanted as to the brands and thier performance. There are quite a few folks here who did just the swap you have in mind. I for one used a fullsize axle. f150 converted to 8 lug. I can get you part numbers for radius arm drop brackets. if you wish to use coils. Measurments etc etc.. Just PM me. Misc pictures of my rig are here. (http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/pegalis1/lst?.dir=/My%20Photos&.view=t)

Its realy not a hard thing to do. Takes a few days, and a few $$. But FAR cheaper and simpler than a TTB lift.
