Guys, To improve my gearing was thinking of putting a 2:1 toybox behind my 700 and between my marlin crawler gearbox but don't want to damage my crawler any thoughts? Don't need the 4.0 box as that would be too deep for an auto and don't think axle gears will get me low enough.

Two questions: Can you shift a toy gear reduction case on the fly? Lo-N-Hi or will it suffer the same as my current cruiser....and secondly what are your thoughts on ruggedness?

On the fly .......no .......the Marlin crawler setup has been run in Broncos for years (Klune V) with no problems.
