Can anyone confirm if the front greasable u-joint on a DSII front shaft will fit in the DC joint (using 2 of course)? My dealer is willing to replace the front shaft under warranty but informed me the new shaft is the same (non-greasable DC joint). If I can confirm that the front joint will fit in the DC joint, they'll put those in for me under warranty. I've only got 4K miles left on my warranty so I'm trying to get everything taken care of.

I can't confirm your question Greg, but I just had my wife's DII front prop shaft warranteed in Charlotte. When I called the service writer on the fact that you couldn't grease the shaft, he summoned the tech who proceeded to tell me that it was greasable using a "special tool"! Can you believe that!

one of the drive shafts on a dII requires a different fitting to grease, but i think that is on the slinding section not the u joint.
the disco one u joints will fit in the dII shaft but you still can't grease the center section take the new shaft, replace the u joint on your own later with something less expensive than dealer u joints.

Thanks guys.
Drew, can you verify a P/N for me? I was told that LR P/N TVC100010 is the greasable front u-joint on a DSII shaft, and is the same as the greasable joint on a DI. Is this correct? Also, is that the same P/N for the rear greasable u-joint on a DSII?
Thanks.
