Just finished this one. Integy 45T,R2,Rooster,stainless links,custom cage and body, blah blah blah. And a tuber"rock racer" I did a few weeks ago.Its finished with TLT axles and axial electronics, But i'm thinking about redoing it or trading for a Nitro buggy.

mac and I pulled the chassis together over some rc4wd shocks and axial axles and tranny. beads are from mayhem, body - who cars, it works great, and the sponsors helped with stickering it.

It all started with a Venom Creeper with some mods. Then came a Berg I found on the RCCrawler classifieds. Hope to get it fine tuned soon.

The realistic looking rigs are referred to as "scalers" and without a doubt the hands down truck to get is the Axial SCX10 in one of its several variations. Both of my rigs started as SCX10s, but I had to modify them to get the wheelbases I wanted so they would look best with the bodies I run. The SCX10 kits will come with a lexan body which is okay, but generally speaking not as realistic looking as the hard plastic bodies. Some look very sharp, though. I'm running a hard plastic body on the Jeep and my TTC-style early Bronco is lexan. I need to get some pics of that one to post here...

Well I finally jumped from the bully to the berg bandwagon. Wow, what a difference. I was able to throw it together in a couple of evenings last week to make the final comp in our series on Sat. I still can't believe the amount of steering I have now. After being consistently 7th in our series, I was able to pick up 4th on Sat and ran my first perfect course (-20). Big thanks to Jeepsohigh for your help and parts.

Axial SCX10 kit, pretty much all stock with the exception that all the shock towers have been made out of steel rod. All the tube work is custom and bolted to the frame. Currently running a 55t motor w/xl5 esc (waiting for my 35t brushless to come in).

my hpi nitro monster king before i sold it , i know nitro's can't crawl but with the horizontally mounted engine and the brace off the rear links it was impressive for a nitro. only thing i did to it was spools, and the imex pullers. the body is actually for the savage next to it but it looked way better on the nitro monster king

The toy cab was nice and all, but I'm a jeep guy, so it needed to go. I had to hack up the grill to clear the steering and it does appear to sit higher, but it works better at the same time. I attribute most of that to moving the battery up to the front axle though.

This is my buggy that I based off the Wraith chassis. It's built out of 3/16" steel rod, running a set of Gmade R1 axles, 2.2 Baja Claws on JConcept beadlocks. I have a 27T motor mounted in a RC4WD R2D tranny. Castle sidewinder esc with bec and a Savox steering servo. Here are a few pics I have, I need to take it out now that I have the new tires.

These things are badass! I know this is probably a newb question but can you guys recommend a website to get started building a scale model of my jeep? I love messing around with stuff like this and have owned a couple nitro rc cars in the past. I just have never seen the realistic small-scale details like high lift jacks and gas cans and whatnot. Here's the new one I just got. First one, it's a Losi Night Crawler. I'm hoping to start building one soon, I wanted to get one ready to go and play some before I started the process of building one.I would hate to go all in, spend a bunch of time and money, then find out I didn't enjoy it. got my wraith a couple weeks ago. busted some stuff and burnt the stock motor already. so i installed aluminum lower links, inner c's, knuckes, titanium tie rod and drag link, MIP drive lines, 55t motor, castle programable BEC, high voltage savox 360oz servo and my 3/4" wide comp wheels with HB sodonas. each wheel tire weighing 16oz. just until i get my scale h1's and either the baja claws or the boggers.

I've been getting into this recently....although, much like my 1:1, I tend to like more full bodied rigs, and less of the tube/crawlers.

I built the Rodeo body from styrene to match my DD and recently acquired SAS'd Rodeo. The paint is different, but the scale is close (tires aren't true scale as with most R/C cars)

Xr10 with a losi body on it that I bought from jwbogger. New axial hardened gears front and rear (broke both sets of the HR gears), new 7950th servo (broke the 7954sh) and a new paint job. So far I have been very impressed with the capabilities of the little crawler. Also bought a couple 2100mah 3s batts and get around an hour and some change on a single batt. I think I'm going to pick up a bodyless chassis and see where that takes me.

How about another Hilux. This Trail Finder 2 belongs to a buddy. This rig is his shelf queen!:laughing:

I love the tim cameron rigs. You ever wanna get rid of one let me know!

Who is making the rock bouncing chassis? I wouldn't mind having one with a MOA setup. How long are they? Either way they look bad ass and if anyone wants to make me one I would be happy to pay for the chassis unless it is super expensive.
