:mad3::mad3: Anyone else going through these at a fast clip? Put on a fresh pair of good ol' American made Timken unit-bearings. Lasted all of 15K miles, and the passenger side exploded last night while driving down the asphalt.
So much for quality American parts.
Thanks for letting me bitch.

I had more returns with timkens when I was a parts whore than any other brand.
Might be time to outsource.

You might want to take a closer look at that bearing.Last I heard Timken had moved a good portion of the bearing production to India.I think the last Timken unit bearing I got had a "made in India" stamp on it.
As asked already. What size tire? What offset on the rim? To much of one and to little of the other can quickly shred unit bearings.

Buddy of mine got a bearing on EBay for 25 plus shipping = $50. Brand new. We'll see how long they last.
