Let's try that again....see below.....................

Just kidding, but some friends could sure use your help on some land closure issues that the Sierra Club is pushing through. I've sent letters concerning your land closures that don't effect me directly, so please return the favor if you can. It's for the benefit of ALL of us to keep these people from gaining any more momentum. A big thanks to all that help us out. Check the link below. It's to a much less traveled site than this, so they could sure use some help in numbers. Thanks.

Basically, there are green groups all up and down the entire east coast pushing to close down our beaches to ORV use. Some are even trying to close them to foot traffic. The National Park Service has already 'temporarily' closed miles of our NC beaches for one species of bird that 'occasionally' nests here...get this, only one pair of these Piping Plovers has nested within these MILES AND MILES of closed beaches, and they have laid 3 eggs, one of which a seagull will get, one of which a fox will get, and the other will hatch and be eaten before it ever leaves the nest (pure speculation based on my own observations but likely to be true). This is absurd. Like you, we need ALL the help we can get. I will put together more info and links on other pending beach closures and post them as soon as I have time. But for now, the guys in Florida sure need a hand.
