Anyone ever put a stock EFI tank in the back of there samurai like a fuel cell? I am going to be doing this just wondering if there is anything I should watch out for?

we put psf4x4's stock (non-efi) tank in the back of his. we bolted the skid plate to the floor and then bolted the tank to the skid. it works great.

how hard was it to move the lines around.

it wasn't. the rear of his body is removed so the lines were just routed up beside and then to the top of the tank.

Cool...I still have my body just going to punch a hole though one of the many rust spots and run the lines. :D

there are a couple of down falls. you can only fill the tank half full because the fill hose is in the center of the tank and it takes up much needed storage space sitting in the back instead of underneath. i've never really needed more than a half a tank per ride i ever been on it's just that added security of a full tank and if i ride more than two or three days i need to get gas. works great like high5 said. beats the hell out paying 80 plus for a decent fuel cell. :usa:

if you would make a mount for the cap/fill spout up high on the side of your cage like i have been trying to tell you then you would be able to fill it all the way. that brings your fill spout above the top of the tank and allows the tanks to be completely filled. some people never learn.
