Looking for a tube chassis for my AX-10. I can't stand the stock body, so I want to change it for a tube one. Who makes a good one?

This is Pirate, make it your self...j/k

Check out tcscrawlers.com They make one. I built mine from 3/16" steel rod, welded together. I have also used 3/16" brake line and brazed it.

this is a badass 2.2 tuber chassis, looks like a poison spider bruiser.

Check on RCP crawlers.com they are building a cool tube frame with jeep skins. My son built a 2.2 replica of our f=toy that bolts to a top banana frame
there are several companys that make tube frames tho. I guess I should have read the post before mine

one little thing to think of is that allot of "tube" chassis out there are NOT tube they are solid rod which IMO makes a heavy pig. they may look cool but all that extra weight sucks.

That all depends on the suspension the heavy cars (to a point) work better most of the time. the car that Jake(lazybum) ran to the SOcal championship was a brick weight wise but it worked well

heavy overall on the scale is one thing but heavy up high is anther. was the weight down low (at axles or in wheels) ? or up high in the chassis...my bet was down low....

Ecoli's are definitely sweet!

For a more aggressive look check out Death Metal Garage, These things are built for abuse and lightweight. The workmanship on mine is outstanding. (However, in true Pirate form, I cut it up the minute I got it:flipoff2:)
