I spent almost an hour of searching and couldn't really find any information on this subject.

I want to know if putting an ARB in a 9" is worth it, I have had people say the seals suck in them. Only reason I would want an ARB over a Detroit is that it is going into my TJ and I DD it, and it's just extremely nice to unlock the diffs.

The guy's trading me a HP Dana 44 and 9" for stock axles so thats why I'm not getting a D60 for the rear.

I've had one in the back of my EB for about 4 years, many miles and lots of use.
I loved it until a week ago when it developed a leak. Still locks but the compressor runs all the time. It is one of the first designs for the 9" and I'm going to find out how ARB handles warranty. I'd still go with it again, or possibly a spool.

i went with a detroit. i don't like the idea of compressor and air lines failing. the detroit is there 24-7. as for pvmy characteristics- they are different but not impossible to overcome. just turns need to be addressed. basically don't gas it when in a tight turn and even sweeping turns. if you gently give it gas in turns you are fine. just back off the throttle in tight turns or throw in neutral.

get a DETROIT :)
