I installed an aux. trans. cooler under the tub w/ a 12v fan.
Is there a big difference if the aux. cooler is in line before the stock cooler. or does the fluid have to go through the stock cooler first and then the aux. cooler?

hmmm lemme think.... :flipoff2:
Under tub temps = outside temp
Radiator temp = 200+*

I think you shoud run it through the radiator and then on to the auxillary cooler. The other way around would just warm the cooler fluid when it goes into the radiator.

Either that or eliminate the stock cooler completly.

Eliminate the stock cooler all together. Did that on my setup and dropped the tranny temps 20*. If you have a carbed vehicle and it runs cool then it wont have as big of an impact. I have an injected motor and it has a 195* stat so it is gonna be hard for the tranny fluid to stay cooler than that.
