P7 M13.....in .40S&W. Impossible you say? not so. The gentleman who used to own this gun was the Director of engineering for HK. He passed a bit ago. He and his wife live in the same town as my buddy who has a gun shop.
The wife ran into him in the post office, where he was wearing a gun shirt. She asked him some very vague questions about guns and told him about her situation and the fact that she knew nothing about guns.
She brought the P7 to his shop a few days ago. When she walked in she saw his display of YHM suppressors and asked what they were. He told her and she then told him that she had just gotten done destroying 15 of "those things" because they were just pieces of metal. UGH, if that doesnt make you sad.
He tells me there are a few other high dollar guns in his old safe, but she doesn't have the combo. Her son in law does however and my buddy gets first dibs once she gets the combo.
Anyway, I just thought I'd share the story with everyone.

That is pretty cool, not $5000 cool though.

The P7 is about the only HK product I want to own.

When he took the box out and asked me what I noticed.....I didn't see anything right off. Then I found it kinda funny that it had 9x19 and .40S&W on it....

Because HK is too professional and smart to just modify their 9mm pistols for .40, they design them that way from the ground up, every time.

Err....
