from my experience I wouldn't waste the money on AGR even if they were LESS than a regular box..
someone in the binder section should chime in about a good place that sells rebuilt ones..that is the route I'd go..
OLD SCOUT? anybody?

get a junk yard box and run it until it needs rebuilding then have it rebuilt.

Good Used....
As long as there is no slop between input and output shafts then you should be able to run that thing till shit squirts out!
I agree that an AGR box might look pretty, but just like a pretty woman, you never know if they are going to just lay there when you really want them to move!
Rebuilt is not much better either...PNP baby:D

Take the time to find a good junk yard box. Pull it apart and make sure the shaft is not scared. My PO installed rebuilt box has scaring on the sector shaft and chews up seals about every 6 months.
Oh and screw AGR, not worth a dime.

Find a good used one (there are 2 differnet input shafts) or buy a reman form Napa (thats what i have now) Screw AGR, i had one and it would lock up when it got hot and it got hot and fast and i run a large tranny cooler for my PS. They are hard to work with to get it fixed also and won't refund or give you a new one, they will only make it right by fixing it and they didn't fix it when i sent it back. When i got it back it did the same thing.
