ok, i broke something in my passenger side front Dana 60... it's little, it's plastic, and it's kinda threaded... if my damn phone would send the picture, it would be up... what exactly is this part, and is there a replacement/upgrade for it...? i guess it's time to grease my hubs, which being 22 years old seems about time...?

It's hard to tell what it is from the pic but it pretty much has to be some from the locking hub itself.

The only plastic parts in a front D60 are either locking hubs or the upper king pin. That definetly isnt the king pin. Id say repack the front axle bearings and buy new hubs.

there's no way to buy a rebuild type kit for hubs...? damn, i didn't expect to spend $200 on hubs this month...

i did repack everything, and put it back together with that ring, and it sounds better, but it goes into the locked position whenever i change it, and drive... which, i'm glad it locks, rather than unlocks...
