Ok I woke up early this morning with this crazy idea in my head. I hate the thought of guys choping the rear off their Scramblers, I know you drag it but you know that when you buy one.

Anyone ever stretched the wheelbase of a Scrambler? I've noticed that a lot of the buggies are running 105-110 inch wheelbases. The Scramblers at 103.5.

Sure stretching has been done countless times. You would still need to cut the rear though. The scrambler is already at 103.5. By the time you stretch it and put 39's or bigger on you would end up with a comp cut,which is ugly looking to me. Bobbing the rear looks a lot cleaner if done properly.

I am sure it has been done but I have looked at Scramblers and thought the same thing. With a family of 4 I have wanted one for quite a while.
I would strech it so the Axel and gas tank were the same distance from the back as a 5 or 7. Then put the wheel openings to match.
