well what I'm wondering is can i rotate the mass air flow sensor. because sas'ed the old ranger and the coil overs take up all the air intake area.

i did take it a part it looks like i can but i don't want to be wrong

Not 100% sure it is, but I do know other Ford products (Focus is the first that comes to mind) that I have seen with aftermarket intakes, run the MAF rotated 90deg.
