does anybody know what the specs are for the weights on a78/ 401 flywheel?
I only have flywheels off a 304 & 360
I'm thinking of gettin one rebalanced for the 401.
I've had no luck finding one for 401 in canada
thanks in advance

four wheel drive hardware sells them also.. but...
beware.. the 401 that came stock with an automatic.. has a different sized crank in it.. a standard 401 flywheel will not bolt up.. i know.. i didnt believe this either when my jeep guru friend told me this.. but after going round and round with hayes.. and on my second flywheel.. it still didnt bolt up.. they are several thousands different.. i ended up taking it to my machine shop at work.. and they bored out the hole so it would fit over the end of the crank.. take those measurements first.. the o.d. of the end of the crank.. and the o.d. of the centering stub (or whatever its called) that sticks out of the end... thats where mine was a few thousands off... both spots...

don't bother with a hayes, i went through 6 flywheels before i found one that was close enough to get machined to fit
