After a month and a half I finally got this thing running. I've got to build some drive shafts and mount the shocks and I'm ready for a test ride.

I'm in north Georgia, the buggy is built comp legal and really looking forward to the 09 season. As far as the maxi pad I'm still gonna paint it pink with little blue bow ties. We still have chassis #112 to build, were going to tellico this weekend so after that will start tearing down the donner for #112 and be back at it again. I want to thank everyone that has given me info during the build and a great big thanks to John over at alpine for answering all my questions. I cant wait to test it out and just hoping it goes better than my truggy did........................#111.

Naw, we met at the jellico event, I'm the one that went to california to pick up the chassis. As for going to KY. I'll not be able to make it. Wade has spent every weekend at my place helping build #111 so I've got to return the favor and help him get #112 built. When we get'em both finished maybe usboy's from the east can get together for a ride.

You might get that thing to tellico if you can get somebody to run your brake lines for you. Well that is if the parts ever come in.

There are a few more River Rock events coming up. Let me know if you go to one of them.
Follow up with us on the situation at Tellico. i plan to be there next month. For a mild family wheeling and camping event.

Have you considered KY, Fall crawl there should be at least a couple formulas attending.

It wont be ready for tellico even if the brake parts were here.

10-4.... As for tellico, all thats really open is gaurdrail, helicoptor pad, and schoolbus. It'll be a good trip for the family and just a great place to hang out.

Hey 112 I think I have a few crappy cell phone pics saved on the desk top at work, Its what keeps me showing up at that sole sucking hell hole. I will see what I can do to get them posted. I dont know if I can remove you from the pic to make them more presentable to small children.

Finally got to take the rig out for my first ride, well really more of a test to make sure everything cleared when flexed out. The dual cases I had bought from someone that were supposed to be freshly built, were a big pile of grinding / vibrating shit. So I have to rebuild the cases and I should be, except for paneling the sides and top.

No problem, we started #112 last weekend, got the frame stripped, inboard mounts built and installed, rear cut done and x-member in with shackels mounted to the bottom side. We moved the motor back 4'' and got the springs mounted. Saturday were going to build the t-case x-member and get it installed so the motor, trans, transfercase will be done. We gonna mount the chasis and start the floorboard, should be a busy saturday. Give me a call and will swap ideas. Marty Marett 770-654-6999.
