Have ya'll ever been so close to being done with whatever you're doing to your truck that it is so irritating? Like all you have to do is wait for like 2 parts that are easy bolt ons and then you'll be done? Yeah that sucks, just wondering if anyone feels the same way sometimes. Oh yeah, and then i just HAD to start it up to see if it "still ran" (even though i just started it up yesterday also) and then that just pisses me off more cause i'm so close. I WANNA GO WHEELIN!! ARGH!

i know how that goes, but seems that everytime I get real close, I start up another project, then get burned out from working on it all weekend, or the DD takes a dump, or who knows what else happens.

I'm in the middle of transforming my CJ7 and not only is it taking what seems like forever. "Sir it takes a couple days for the shocks to arrive!" The Summit Lady says. Does she realize the moment I give her my CC# I want the shocks now? I guess we never outgrow our impatience, just our toys!
It's the waiting that makes it all worth while!

Well if only I could afford high steer. I got the whole axle assembly, springs, shocks, mounts, (everything) but high steer kit.
Soon hopefully.

So now I just sit and stare at what I got.

Trying to find other little things to do to keep me busy.

well i have everything either ordered and on its way or just sitting there. its so freakin close. all i can do now is sit here and wait for parts to get here.....ugh.....the clock just keeps getting slower and slower......sigh

I know how you feel. I did that start it up to see if it still runs thing a couple of weeks ago and the carb started puking fuel everywhere. I'm lucky I didn't catch fire and burn my jeep to the ground. I just spent all day working on the TBI conversion that I was going to put off until next spring. Oh well its only money. Hope you have better luck than I have.

Im in the same situation, except mine is more of a maintenance thing. My new (8 month old) auto tranny seal blew and started puking fluid everywhere.. and because the seal blew, the pump went with it. :( Good thing this is all covered under warranty, but its been almost a month now, and Im REALLY hoping to get it done this coming week, so I can order some more parts for my OBA and a gas tank skid.

whgat i think sucks the most is the fact that there arent any metal supply places or any places to get bottles filled on sunday or saturday afternoon. too many times, i have been working on a project and ran out of one of the previous. cant finish till the next weekend....it sucks...:mad:

Close to being done?? I don't know anyone who's ever been completely "done" with a rig. I know what you mean though, mine's almost drivable, just have to wait for the shocks to come in.

Well i'm not waiting on parts for my truck i'm more waiting on the time to finish it. Just need to wire up the alt, and build traction bar's and bend the tranny shifter. then i have to go to a Fawkin weddin 6 hours away............. next weekend end ehhhh that's my goal too......
