: will vortec heads bolt to non vortec exhaust? charlo 08-01-2002, 12:09 AM So I finally got the money. Now I get to put some vortec heads on my 350. I know I need a new intake which leads me to believe I will need a new exhaust also. Also will all my accesory brakets bolt right on? Finally are the vortec heads from GM performance parts the same as asking for heads for a 96-2000 silverado w/350? Charlo rodzzilla 08-01-2002, 04:24 AM I put a set on my Suburban. The only thing I had to change was the intake. Exhaust and all the brackets work the same. :D Derf00 08-01-2002, 07:34 PM Yes, my new 383 has Vortec heads and when I ordered the headers, I ordered the ones that would fit a 350 for my '90 Jimmy and they fit fine. charlo 08-03-2002, 10:38 AM Now thats what I want to hear.
