: HEI distrubutor on a 77/40

Hey guys,

I need any and all info I can get on putting a HEI distributor on my 77/40. Mainly because parts are cheaper and way easier to get my hands on here in northern IN. I ran a search and didn't come up with much. I also checked ih8mud.com, I read what was there, but I still would like some more info. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have an HEI distributor in one of my FJ-40's. I have the 2F engine. It was my understanding that since the Toyota's are "metric" and the GM's are not; an adjustment must be made to the HEI. I bought mine from Cruisers R US in Salida Co. Ask for Merle. The HEI was a boost for me and I am very happy with it. Go for it.
