Holy crap does my DRZ move now. What a difference it made. I can really tell the difference with the E series exhaust too.

Fawking nightmare to get the damn CV carb off and back onto the bike, but it was worth it. I also drilled out the atmospheric equalization holes in the slide too as was recommended.

So now she's sporting a 27.5 pilot jet and a 150 main. The kit also came with an adjustable needle.

My gas mileage probably will suffer a bit, but the smile on my face is a lot wider. :D

Still have to cut the larger hole in the air box and that should help with the minute amout of bogging I'm getting at low revs.

So who wants to go riding?

i did a simaler thing to my XR650L it improved it a lot. but what made the biggest difference was changing the carb to a regular slide carb.
it got like 10 miles to the gallon less though. but it ripped on the bottom end.

No $hit about the gas mileage. LOL I went from 2.5 to 3 days of "normal" riding to 1 day of gettin on it to see how it works. I filled it up and was really opening it up everywhere I went. The next day I was riding along and had to switch to reserve! So now I just stay out of it unless I am passing somebody or something.

You know at $4.00 a tank for super this could get real expensive! :D No where the 10 to 15 a day to drive my Cruiser though. :p

I'd love to buy a flat slide carb for her, but at around $600.00 I think I'll live with the CV carb in it's current state for a while.
