: Black Diamond 3" lift
FatBob309 08-01-2002, 09:50 AM I’m looking for some info on the Black Diamond lifts. I am looking at getting a 3” Black Diamond lift from a friend. It’s new and still in the box…. As with every lift I have heard good and bad things about them. The one that makes me question the quality of the lift is one guy told me the springs are weak and will be worthless after a few month of wheeling. Has anyone had this problem?

Whatever.... BTW: it's "swear". Like Dude said, what's with that wish-list sig of yours? How about listing what you actually have, not want?
Keith Strong 08-01-2002, 10:23 AM Are you kidding me? Wish4YJandalifecausemyshitisjustasgay...... Who the fawk are you to come in ehre with your whopping 3 months and 300 posts and try to hammer newbies? Are you "Big Dawg" now with your kick ass "Planned" list  Shut up and sit down....how often do you go wheelin anyways?
Fatbob.....the only thing he is right about is that not too many here have much experience with a small lift like that. maybe using those springs SOA ;) Try JU bud :flipoff2:
FatBob309 08-01-2002, 10:29 AM Got the point! Step back and breath.... Its going on a 00TJ. Along with 33's But I think you could have figured out it was going on a Jeep this being a Jeep forum.... Life will continue and so will newbie post. Being a newbie I haven't had a chance to utilize all the great options here. Thanks for pointing out the search button.

and here we go, three months on the board doesn't make you not a newbie. and your "planned" list makes you look more like a wannabe than a willbe. JU is the place you wanna be, because I got the feeling that you are going to get nothing but grief around here.
FatBob309 08-01-2002, 10:37 AM Thanks. I'll try JU.

Yes, we knew jeep, but there is quite the difference between a TJ lift and a YJ lift. It's the age old debate of COIL vs SPRING  See, now that I know it is a coil spring Jeep, my SOA comment does not apply. Get it? ;)

moveaside 08-02-2002, 05:22 AM Ouch a lot of smacked asses over here. Brad is right from what I've seen of them there not a bad lift. Hey Fatbob do you think your a cheesy ripoff of "Jay and Silent Bob" does that make you the chubby and secretly gay one?:flipoff2: And Wish4YJ Keith had to pull off his belt and spank that ass man that had to hurt.
Jakesteramalamajama 08-02-2002, 06:32 AM So is this still the place to pad? :flipoff2:
'Cause if it is, I got some dubious, utterly irrelavant tech for ya:
My buddy had a 3-1/2 inch black diamond kit in his YJ. It rode REAL NICE on the street.
Of course, this was back when BD shiat was made by Warn... :flipoff2:

+1 :flipoff2: :flipoff2:
