A while ago, someboday posted a site that sells tow straps, tow accessories, etc., but now I can't find it. I need to buy some d-rings (not sure what they're called exactly, but the shackles people run on their bumpers that can be unscrewed and used as tow points-??) and can't find them anywhere near where I live. Help? Thx. <IMG SRC="smilies/eyemouth.gif" border="0">

These are pretty cool but expensive:
bolt on recovery points (http://www.tellico4x4.com/start.htm)
go towards the bottom of the page.

Would it be as safe to weld similar brackets as the above? The way I'm mounting mine, I need to weld them on. Does anyone know of weld-on mounts that can be used, or would I have to make my own. If I took this to a welder (i was going to anyway-i don't know how to weld good enough) could they just make them or would that cost too much? I know i've seen them welded before......

Here are the two pics (One of which I suppose) you wanted to post.

Actually, I think that would be fine to do. You can either bolt these on, or have a welding shop, weld them for ya.
