are all dana 44 stub shafts the same size length?? Can anyone get me a measurement on the stub shaft and short side shaft for a chevy dana 44. I have a waggy 44 passenger drop and i am having a hard time finding spare shaft...does anyone know if there is a big difference in chevy 44 shafts to the waggy, and does anyone know if i can interchange a driver side drop waggy shafts with a passenger side drop waggy. OR can anyone get me a spare set of short side and stub shafts for a passenger side drop wagoneer 44...they are like year 76-79. Thanks for the help

Wagoneer and Chevy stub shafts should be the same.
Pass. drop wagoneer inner shafts - 14.69" and 33.19"
Drive drop wagoneer inner shafts - 15.80" and 32.12"
Chevy inner shafts - 18.31" and 36.13"

You could have a chevy shaft cut down to wagoneer length. That would give you a slightly stronger shaft because it would eliminate the neck down after the splines like a stock shaft has.

Ford D44 stub shafts are a different length than the Waggy/GM.
