So your building a suspension system for your TJ. Long arm with minimal lift using coils and shocks. It's time to mount the shocks and bump stops. You can place the shocks where you want so that's not a limiting factor and the bump stops will be set up accordingly. Assume tire clearance is not an issue.
While trying to keep as much droop travel as possible, what would be the ideal bump travel in your set-up? 2,3,4,5"....?

I was only able toget 4inches without moving my track bar bracket.BUt it all worked out pretty good. 4 up 8 down. I didnt Want any less than 4 because I Drive it on the street and Like to Haul ass offroad, and didnt want to be bottoming out all the time.

Asking for something "ideal" isn't going to work, because "ideal" is different to a number of people. Start at 5" and see how you like it... if no bueno, go lower.
