Who makes an adapter for the tf727 to the 203?I am having a hard time finding info on it.Am I better just getting a stock adapter?Anybody on here do a 727/203/205 swap?

Adapter? Are you trying to convert a 2wd trans to 4wd?

I would think that you just need a mid to late 70's Dodge 4wd automatic as they came from the factory with a 203 :confused:

My trans is a 4wd ,but has a 208 on it,and I just rebuilt the trans ,so I hate to swap to another.will a 70's 203 bolt to an 85' 727a?Or didi they change bolt patterns?

Dodge 23 spline NP203's came in both the 7-bolt asymmetrical pattern (early) and 6-bolt round pattern (late). I don’t know the exact cut off year for the change. The later model 6-bolt should go right on your trans in place of the NP208. The earlier model NP203 can be re-drilled and tapped to the 6-bolt round pattern also.

Thanks for responding,I found an early 203 with the 7 bolts pattern and will have it redrilled.
