OK, so I have done some searching, and am having some issues with the wiring of the ftoy.

I am running the gotpropane 22r kit (at least it is mounted on the engine), and I will not be running any of the factory harness. I will also be running a 1-wire GM alt, and a 12voltguy switch panel. I have called Cary, but he hasn't returned my call yet. My issue isn't with wiring the propane switch, but with the other electrical components.

What distributor do I need to run, and which coil? I have both the carbed and EFI dist and coil.

Also, how did you run your wiring for the coil and alt? From another post, with the one wire alt, I just need to hook it to the battery, correct? Does the coil just need a switched wire and ground?

I'm sure there will be more, but this is a start to getting 092 running.

Wire the one wire alt directly to the battery.

If you have bypassed all the EFI stuff you can run the carb dizzy. It needs 12 volts on one of the wires coming out of it. There are two. One for the tach and one for switched 12 volts.

I'm good on the alt now. Also talked to Cary on the dist and coil. He answered my questions.

So there is only 2 wires on the coil? No ground? Sorry about the stupid questions, but I don't have a carb coil in front of me.

I have another stupid question... What is a carb dizzy?

Thanks

It means a distributor off of a carbureted motor.

OK, I get it now. Don't mind me... You will all soon know that I am a little slow sometimes. :shaking:

Do you know which is the 12 volt? Which is for the tach? I tried looking for the colors in 2 different manuals, but neither was helpful.

Also, where did you mount your coil at? Trying to find a convient yet out of the way place to put it.
