Just wondering what some of you have going on, as far as aftermarket guages and what-not. Not counting if you have a "fuel cell"

What do you mean by, "Doesn't work"?

Doesn't move at all? Never reads FULL? Always reads FULL?

I'm running the stock sender, stock gauge. It reads about 3/4 tank when I fill it, and thanks to the dent in the tank, never reads below 1/4. :D

I'll fix that soon though.. since Makkat went to a Scout 800, I have his old 33 to install. :D

You can also buy new 19gal senders if you think your sender is bad.

$35-$40 IIRC from SSS. I have a brand new one sitting on the shelf.. I was going to drop the tank, clean it, make a few modifications, put the new sender and pickup in... when I installed the ProJection.

But then the ProJection didn't work, so I threw it into the corner of the shop and slapped a carb back on and went wheelin' instead. :D

always reads empty...never moves, even when full.

So senders are avail...what about guages to go with 'em (in case it's bad)

Have you checked the wire is connected on both ends, not broken anywhere, etc. ? A new sender won't do jack shit if the wire between the gauge and the sender is no good or not connected.

Did it all of a sudden go bad?

Well it's never worked since I had it (about a year now) when I first got it it didn't work and WAS hooked up, now it's just not hooked up.

I suppose I'll hook it up, see what happens. Maybe all that Thick GUNK I removed from the tank was rendering the float useless.

I'll get back to ya'll:D

SMACK!

If I remember right IH used the same resistance values as ford for the fuel gauge. You'll need to know that if you go aftermarket.

Can I have the projection?
