Heard of a locking differential offered as an option that is not a limited slip or locker (in the traditional sense). How this is supposed to function is open until there is a half axle speed difference and then it locks solid. Sounds weird.

Anybody heard of this?

Its nothing new, its called a gov lock and has been offered for more than 20 years

the gov-loc has been around for a while. it sucks!!!
mine Z came stock with one and I hated it. swapped it out for a lockright (for now)
