Yeah - but they hit you with $60 worth of service charges and shipping. I just nabbed one from winchdepot for $523 shipped.

Negative. It was free shipping. They did gig me for tax though. I ordered it
Sunday afternoon and it arrived wednesday. It was sitting on my front porch
when I got home from work. Total cost was $535.
Big Rich 10-11-2008, 10:35 AM I have an 8274 still in the box, if anyone is interested
:smokin: deal
MT4Runner 10-12-2008, 08:53 PM I'm interested....but....used 8274's are all over the place. I bought one for $200 and spent $200 on rebuilding it. Great winch for ~$450. If you're anywhere near that, PM me!

Nope... 2x that... new in the box, not rebuilt or even ever mounted.....
chvyhs 11-06-2008, 07:21 PM I got the winch all mounted up. Not sure the control box is going to stay where it is now. I would have liked to put it on top of the winch but I didn't want to block the radiator too much.

BTW,
It's the M8000
ftoy507 11-06-2008, 07:28 PM I had the same concern with blocking the radiator.
I wouldnt worry if the cooling system is up to par. I have the 9500 winch with solenoids across the top blocking half my radiator and a PS cooler blocking half of that. Car has never overheated.

How hot does your motor get? I've had mine up around 225F on long hard climbs or high rpm assaults. Normally runs around 180-190 on the trail.
chvyhs 11-07-2008, 08:51 AM Mine always stays pretty cool. I have a Tarus two speed fan. I've never have to turn on the hi speed.
